Welcome to SOL2024 !

SOL is an annual international conference and, after Thessaloniki, Greece in 2022 and Montreal, Canada last year, the 2024 edition will be held in Tsukuba, Japan, from November 25th to 28th.

SOL brings together researchers and engineers from academic institutions and companies from around the world working on Solanaceae plants (tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, chili peppers, green peppers, etc.) in the fields of genome science, genetics and breeding.

SOL is a great opportunity to meet and discuss current development trends and industrialization of research results on topics covering all aspects of Solanaceae species. SOL2024 program will include topics such as 'omics technologies (genomics, transcriptomes, proteomics, metabolomics), genetics, molecular breeding and biodiversity, physiology, epigenetics, biotechnology, applied research as well as the industrialization and Solanaceae research in emerging countries. Through oral presentations and poster sessions, we will provide a place to exchange cutting-edge knowledge and expand collaborative research networks. I look forward to seeing you in Tsukuba, Japan.
